akhirnya, setelah lama aku tunggu-tunggu.. single terbaru avril dari albumnya goodbye lullaby keluar juga. well, judulnya what the hell.

sudah dengar lagunya.

hampir hapal lagunya.

pertama kali dengan lagu ini sih, aku berpikir… kok gini ya?
tp setelah lebih mendalam menangkap arti dari lagu ini, well.. not bad… setidaknya, avril kembali bebas mengekspresikan dirinya seperti dulu lagi. meski dalam konsep yang berbeda. tapi aku kangen avril yang dulu.

sudah liat video klipnya juga.
avril seksi banget di bagian pertama video ini. jadi mupeng pengen punya body kayak dia juga. hhehe
eng, video klipnya kayak iklan sih… banyak merk2 dagang yang tershoot. aku paling suka scene dimana avril naik di atas panggung dan mengacungkan kedua jari tengahnya sambil mengatakan, “What The Hell!”

Avril Lavigne

Avril Ramona Lavigne adalah seorang musisi asal kanada yang lahir di Belleville, Ontario, Kanada, 27 September 1984.

Avril adalah bahasa Perancis untuk kata April (Bulan April), sedangkan Lavigne berarti Vine (Anggur) atau Vineyard (Kebun Anggur).

Ia adalah penyanyi pop Kanada yang telah mencetak record penjualan album terbaik, selain sebagai penulis lagu wanita dengan usia termuda.

Lagu pertamanya Complicated langsung melejit dan masuk dua besar dari tangga lagu di Amerika.
Sampai saat ini, tahun 2009, Avril telah meliris tiga album; Let Go (2001-2003), Under My Skin (2004-2006), The Best Damn Thing (2007–Sekarang). Sementara sebagai bintang film ia terkenal dengan aktingnya dalam film Sabrina, the Teenage Witch (2002), Going the Distance (2004), Fast Food Nation (2006) dan The Flock (2007).

Kemampuan Avril dalam bernyanyi telah diketahui sejak ia berumur 2 tahun, ketika ibunya mengatakan bahwa Avril telah mulai ikut menyanyi lagu-lagu rohani di gereja. Well, begitulah cerita perjalanan karir Avril. Dari semua lagu di tiga albumnya, aku paling suka sama Don’t Tell Me. Lagunya energik dan penuh makna.

Pada tanggal 15 Juli 2006, Avril menikah denga vokalis utama band punk-rock Kanada, Sum 41, Deryck Whibley, di Montecito, California.

Well, meski sekarang penampilan Avril telah berubah. Yang dulunya skate dan tomboy abis, kini menjadi cewek girly dengan hot pants dan rambut warna-warni, aku tetap suka kok. Gayanya tetap keren di mata aku. Apalagi musicality, her style, dan dia tetap menjadi dirinya sendiri dimana pun dia berada. Lagu2nya pun tetap oke.

answer: absolutely, a love all the aspect of her, not just her style or phisically appearance, i love her music, her talent, her originallity. i know some fan might dissapointed with the changes, but it just the way she chose her life. she’s just human, and human might fail for their own way.

Avril Lavigne's Black Star

Ini dia berita terbaru dari Artis favorit aku, Avril Lavigne telah meluncurkan parfum perdananya dengan nama ‘Black Star’ di Eropa sana.

“I wore pink and black with studded accessories. I think wearing my own stuff and staying true to my style is a huge part of what makes me who I am,” kata Avril.

Black Star merupakan parfume dengan kombinasi wewangian dari pink hibiscus flower, black plum, dan dark chocolate dibalut botol kombinasi warna pink dan hitam –warna kesukaan Avril. “When I created the scent, I knew the fragrance had to have dark chocolate… I was thrilled to be able to incorporate such an unexpected element into Black Star.” Duh… kebayangkan wanginya kayak apaan? Jadi pengen beli.

Sedangkan design dari botol parfumenya sendiri unik banget, mirip sama bintang gitu. Di bagian leher parfumenya kalian akan melihat sebuah cincin berpaku atau apalah namanya yang terinspirasi dari aksesoris kesukaan Avril –well, seperti gelang berpaku/berduri, dll- katanya sih itu untuk mencerminkan gaya Avril yang Rock dan Glamour.

“Creating the packaging and bottling for Black Star was very exciting for me. I really love combinations like pink and black and fun accessories like stars and studs. And so this is what you will see in my perfume bottle. The studded ring you see on the bottle is actually a removable ring, which you can wear or hang around a necklace. The box was inspired by my studded bracelets and belts,” kata Avril.

Sebenarnya konsep tentang parfum ini ada sejak dua tahun yang lalu loh. Lama banget yah selesainya. Selain sudah mempunyai label parfum sendiri, Avril juga bergerak dalam bidang fashion dan mendesign sendiri pakaiannya, Abbey Dawn. Wah… jadi tambah salut deh sama canadan musician yang satu itu.
